My name is Angela Penniman. I live in Warrensburg, Missouri with my husband, our two daughters, and our crazy group of animals. My husband is a US Navy veteran. We have lived in Connecticut and North Carolina while he was stationed with the Navy and the Marines. We moved back to our home state of Missouri, settled down, and had two beautiful little girls. My heart will always be part Navy wife.
My husband and I met when I was 17 and he was 18. We fell in love and got married right after he went into the service. After I graduated high school, I moved over a thousand miles away from the small town I had grew up in. This was unheard of for the girl who did not like to travel too far from home ever. Together, we survived our younger years and almost 12 years later, we are still going strong! I owe my inspiration and confidence to him.
Our girls are five and one. They entertain me to no end and bring so much sunshine into my life. I have always felt that writing was my true calling, but honestly, it comes second to being a mother. I have never felt such love in my heart and joy in my soul and I am so grateful for the journey of motherhood.
I have been writing since I could join two sentences together. Ideas flood into my brain constantly. Though I cannot remember everything, I always try to bring a pencil and a notebook with me wherever I go. Creativity strikes quickly--always be prepared!
I am self-publishing right now, trying to get my foot in the door. Hopefully soon I can land an agent and let my career (and my thoughts/words) run free into the wonderful world of published works.
Thank you for coming to my site. I will keep adding as I go along. With two children, a husband, five animals, and my last two semesters of college, life can get pretty busy around here.
